“After studying literature and art at Amherst College and the Phillips Exeter Academy, Dan Brown moved to Hollywood, California to write songs. Professor at Philips Exeter University, he is the witness, on campus, of the arrest by the US secret services of a student who, for fun, evokes in an email the assassination of President Bill Clinton.

Dan Brown is impressed by the extraordinary ability of intelligence agencies to monitor and observe individuals. He then wrote his first novel, published under the title of “Digital Fortress,” a story at the heart of the National Security Agency.

Passionate about the study of secret codes, he wrote the famous “Da Vinci Code,” his fourth novel, which is a world bestseller, adapted to the cinema. In 2005, he published “Angels and Demons,” also transposed on the big screen, an investigation led by Professor Robert Langdon, now famous and recurrent character.

Dan Brown writes for several magazines including Newsweek and The New Yorker. In 2006, released in France “Deception Point,” a thriller thrilling on the background of space technology. “Digital Fortress” appears the following year …
