Eric was born on seven Sept, 1927 in Holloway and began writing regarding Spot the puppy for his son in 1976. the primary Spot book was revealed in 1980 and he followed this up with more stories regarding this adorable dog – it even impressed a cartoon and numerous merchandise. Eric Hill’s books have sold over sixty million copies and been translated into sixty languages. Eeric was awarded and OBE in 2008’s year listing and died on six Gregorian calendar month, 2014.”
